About Orthodontics in St. Augustine and St. Johns FL

Creating happiness… fostering good will… creating friendships… these are the reasons why we believe providing orthodontics and helping patients of all ages have a beautiful and healthy smile is so rewarding!

As a board certified orthodontist, Dr. Glenos feels it is important to stay current with any and all “proven” means of helping the appearance and health of our patients’ smiles. He constantly evaluates new types of braces, devices, materials, and techniques, incorporating those that are truly advantageous in achieving the desired goals.

Our team includes highly skilled, state certified and, most of all, caring orthodontic technicians. Many members of our team have been working together for more than 15 years and some for more than 20 years! All this time we have been striving to improve the quality of service provided because it is our mission to provide every patient with the best possible treatment available anywhere, and to do this in a gentle, caring manner. In other words, we always treat all our patients as we would like to be treated: the Golden Rule rules!

Our goal at Smiles by Glenos is to achieve as near to perfection as possible in the attractiveness, the heath, and the stability of our patients’ smiles and bites, and to do so in the most efficient, timely, and cost effective manner.

Sometimes this can be achieved in various manners, thus the need for complete high-quality records, a carefully thought-out treatment plan, and a thorough discussion between Dr. Glenos and our patient or parent to discuss and determine the best course of action.

Your Consultation

Here at Smiles by Glenos, we believe that every patient and parent deserves as much face-to-face time with Dr. Glenos as is necessary, beginning with an informative no-cost initial exam, proceeding with complete and precise records, treatment planning, and subsequently sitting down for a formal consultation to thoroughly explain all reasonable options for treatment, the possible consequences of not receiving treatment, and everything that may be involved in receiving care to achieve the best possible results. There are no surprises when you have orthodontic treatment with Dr. Glenos!

Timing Orthodontics for the Best Results

We enjoy providing excellent orthodontic care to patients of all ages. Preferably, this would begin with periodic dental growth and development visits at approximately age five to seven when the first permanent teeth begin to erupt.  It is very common that these early evaluations result in substantial savings in treatment time and expense for our patients and their families. This service, including any necessary radiographs, is provided at no charge in our St. Augustine and St. Johns, FL orthodontic offices.

While it is ideal to start orthodontic treatment at a young age, during the past 25 years, we have also had many patients benefit from orthodontic treatment in in their 70s and 80s with very pleasing results.
